One of the earliest vw commercials in existance. It's origin is german and it is made in de late '40s or early '50s, not later than 1952.

Did you notice that the car in de beginning of the clip isn't even a real beetle? It's a model, pulled forward with a thread. In the first second you can even see the shadow of a hand pushing the model!

The commercial shows a split rear window beetle. These were produced until 1952. The oval rear window beetle was introduced in 1953.
