I promised showing the five moves approach with other characters, so here's the first one. I'm eyeballing so more characters to try out, so this won't be the last one. I did Vega first because he's one of characters people consider the weakest, especially because his anti-air game is spotty. That did make things more challenging, but with good timing/spacing of cr.HP along with judicious use of j.MK as an air-to-air seemed to make things turn out alright.

The Moves:
cr.MP (poke): it has decent range, is reasonably quick, and is slightly advantageous on block.
cr.HP (anti-air): grounded anti-air. It's kind of finicky in terms of range/timing, but it's the best I could find.
j.MK (anti-fireball/air-to-air): it has good enough range to be used to predictively jump over fireballs and hit my opponent from most ranges. It also works well as as a reactionary air-to-air which really helps make up for the weakness of my cr.HP anti-air.
throw: deal with people blocking, as you'd expect.

Same as before, please don't make fun of anybody I played- everybody is just trying to their best (...except for rage quit dude- you can't learn if you run away!)
