My son Gonzalo Lira has been detained by Ukraine Security Policy charging him to be a Russian propagandist. All he has done is to tell his 300,000 followers in internet, his view of the war while living in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
• Gonzalo was born in Los Angeles, CA. on February 29th, 1968. His sister, also an American citizen by birth, lives in the United States as well as his mother. He has two uncles, four cousins and several nephews, all US citizens living in the States.
• I am Gonzalo´s father living in Chile.
• Gonzalo has been a strong critic of the Zelenski, Biden, and the OTAN as to the way they have carried out this war. He has simply given his opinion.
• He feels that the Ukrainian citizens are not being told the truth as to the results of the war by their government. While Ukraine is being destroyed.
• Gonzalo cannot be accused of being a Russian propagandist nor agent, he simply has openly given his impressions of the war to his nearly 300,000 followers.
• He has never contacted a Russian soldier nor Russian agent.
• He has never written to overthrow the Zelenski administration or any other government. He has demonstrated that he is antiwar, he was born during the Vietnam war and brought up without war toys.
• As an American citizen living in the country that his two children live, has expressed his RIGHT OF SPEECH. This freedom of speech sanctioned by the United Nations; the Ukrainian Government should respect.
• As an American citizen detained by the Ukrainian security police, he has the right to contact the US Embassy in Kiev and have a video conference with some Embassy officials. In addition, I am asking the Red Cross to verify the conditions that my son endures.

I am asking all citizens of goodwill, to those that believe in freedom of expression to put pressure to the Zelenski administration and free my dear son Gonzalo.
